You may have seen in this week's Chronicle news about the Lib Dem
campaign for glass recycling - and Cllr Waite's response!
We have launched an online petition to lobby Reading Borough
Council to introduce glass. This is after we have been told that there
will be no bottle banks in Redlands for the time being, despite the
fact we gave them a list of possible sites exactly a year ago!

We are getting indications that following the dire election results for
Labour in Reading, they may be changing their policy on waste and
